We don't recommend it, as though it might fit personally we like to have a little extra padding added to protect from those (at times) vicious airline baggage handlers.
However, we just added a 2-board version in an 8'6" length that should provide plenty of room for that board, and get them safely to your destination for some wave scoring goodness.
Can this bag be rolled up and if so how bulky is it? I’m traveling to S pacific and picking a board there so I want to bring this board bag to bring my board back home. It’s a 7’6”. Do I buy and 7’6” or better to buy 8’

I keep my 2 board travel bag (6'8") rolled up to maximize space while it's in storage. While rolled up it's ~17"W x 17"D x 28"H. These are travel bags so they do have a denser foam used to protect the boards while in transit. A pro-tip for keeping it rolled tight is to roll it up then cinch it with a utility strap, or rope. For your situation: You could likely cinch it and then toss it in a duffle bag, or if you're feeling spunky even just get on an airline with it rolled up. You'll probably be good either way.

As for size, I'm a bit reserved when it comes to surfboard airline travel, so personally would air on the side of caution and go with the bigger board bag. This allows to put more "stuff" in the bag at the nose and tail of the board (towels, boardshorts, foam, or whatever squishy) as an added layer of protection from the abuse airline travel can take. The 7'6" bag will come with a bit of extra wiggle room to add some more padding, but when it comes to airline travel I've found more is better, and that few extra inches will mean a whole lot more padding, and also the ability to bring bigger boards on future trips too. But either way you should be good!

I just received my board bag today. It's absolutely perfect for me. Flawless construction and can't wait to put it to use when I head to the Maldives later this year.
