Frequently Asked Questions

Ask a Question
  • will this rack work for wakeboards?
    + Show Answer

The flush to the wall design of this rack should make it a decent choice for wakeboards as well. However, personally I think it would be better suited for a board that's still going to be used more or less frequently.

For more of a semi-permanent fixture and a specialized display piece a few customers have tried this  Clear Vertical Wall Rack made of Acrylic and seemed to be stoked with the results. 🤞🏼🤙🏼

  • Will this rack hold boards with a lot of rocker?
    + Show Answer

Boards can really vary when it comes to entry and tail rocker, so this is a great question. If you plan to store the board with the deck facing out then it likely won't be an issue.  However,  if you plan to showcase the bottom of the surfboard then keep in mind that there is only a 2" gap between where the wall is and the inside part of the board.  You can measure this by laying the board on a flat floor with the deck facing down then measure up to the middle point of the board.   If that gap is 2" or below then you should be good to go with this rack.
However if that gap is over 2" or if you want to air on the side of caution then we recommend going with this rack that has a 4" gap shown here.
    Hopefully this helps!

  • How far does the mount project from the wall?
    + Show Answer

The outermost part of the rack comes off the wall ~5", allowing it to maintain the lowest of profiles for surfboard wall racks.

  • I want to mount a fish surfboard, no fins flush to the wall. Which rack should I go with?
    + Show Answer

If you want to mount a fish shape with no fins flush to the wall you actually have two options:

    Vertically Mounted:
This rack comes with 3-pieces (sides arm and base) and all necessary mounting hardware.

    Horizontally Mounted:
This rack comes with 2-pieces and all necessary mounting hardware.

The racks were perfect. Very sturdy and the clear acrylic does not detract from displaying the object. The screws/bolts were way more than needed to secure the racks so I pruchased others from a hardware store. Thanks for the racks!
